Well, Scott Ramsoomair (better known as the guy who does VGCats) has officially started a second comic called "SUPER EFFECTIVE" which will follow the plot of Pokemon Fire Red (since it's the same as Red, but with more stuff) from beginning to end. It'll be updating every time he updates the regular comic, which is (usually) every Monday.
