It doesn't really matter. I got both, but I mainly stick with Diamond.

Overall, it doesn't matter since you have a GTS which can easily get you all the rest of the pokemon.

Either buy a platinum, or get a backup cart like the Acekard 2, M3 real or something similar and just download the games of the internet.

Yes I did mean that sorry for my miss typing.

I just remembered of the rumored Pokemon Dusk Gold and Dawn Silver Johto remakes, if you want Scalding Hot Soup you can wait for them.... (but i doubt they will come out).
