Oh Yes! Please! We need a new one (along with ranks, lol) If you want to dragon, anything will do for the banner. I think snake wanted a lucario? Im not sure though.

that would be great dragon! And we are in need of new ranks as some of the ones in use now "pokemon egg" are a bit shoddy. But thanks if you do dragon, i don't need a lucario in the banner if anyone thought it. I just thought it would look cool.

Im going to get onto some new ranks pretty soon. If anyone has any ideas on them let me know. Things usualy that I need are what they should look like and what the ranks names are (like pokestadium pokemon trainer, gym leader). If I could find the design it shouldn't be a problem from there. Not sure if Johan would let us use the pokestadium ones. But I think it would be better to have our own.

Well I actually like the ranks here. I haven't seen any other than Admin, Mod, and Pokemon Egg (which I thought was very whitty, I might add), but they look good to me so far and the images are really good as well.

As for the banner, I'll work with it. I guess since we're keeping a blue/white color scheme I'll try to work off of that. Once I get the actual images done, if someone could make a background for it (the pixel size of the current one, if you pl0x) that'd be great since I'm not particularly good with backgrounds and I don't have nifty stuff like Photoshop

Do you have any ideas for the background? Im sure I could make one up. I just don't know what it should look like yet.

Well it all depends on what I do for the image. Right now I'm thinking of making it so it has some pokemon or pokemon characters over on one side, then some empty space and then the "Pokearena" name off to the other side. That's just one idea, though, I'm still brainstorming it...

That sounds pretty cool. I wouldn't worry to much on the name right now, since some arn't to sure on pokearena. We might change it, im not sure though. Maybe not. But once you get the banner done ill do a background somewhat like it. But the problem with the background is, is I don't know if the background will strech to make it fit the whole forum, or if it will leave a blank white background where the picture ends... maybe there is someway I can change that.

I think the current layout's fine. Very similar to Pokestadium. I don't know if it's the exact same, but if not Johan might let you use the old one.

But don't use white for the background color. In most cases, white looks really bad as a basic background color

I just got some blue from the forum and painted a blue background. Wasn't to hard. Ill see what the banner looks like and see if I can make the background any better.

Alright, I'm having a wee bit of trouble with the banner, if only because I can't think of one simple thing to sum up the forum, and we've done just using Lucario so I wanted to avoid that...

However, I thought of maybe doing a bunch of different pokemon to use as a solo image for each banner (kinda like that Lucario on the old Pokestadium forums banner) and make a bunch. The cool thing would if it could randomly change to a new banner every time you go to a page on the fourms. I don't know if it's possible or not (though I swear I've seen other forums do it...), but I'm just throwing the idea out there.

Otherwise, I could just stick with Lucario

Im afraid there is no way to do that on here . Only the homepage can have the banner added to it, and that travels the whole forum . Allthough that was a great idea!

And Dragon, if you have a good idea for the forum (say a differnt pokemon), make that. It wont take me long to change the Lucarios on the forum. Im sure we could change back and forth every once in a wile if we really wanted both. Or three differnt ones

Well I wanted to do it where it'd be some popular Pokemon (like Lucario, Weavile, Electivire, etc.) doing some action pose to one side (with a matching background), and then "Pokearena" off to the side. Then, of course, it would be cool if the little Lucarios changed to match that pokemon, but that wouldn't be possible unless it were a totally different skin.
