Yah, it's pretty cool, but imo for smaller forums like these (no offense meant) I always prefer a welcome forum where people can post their own introductions in an individual thread. With larger sites, that gets out of hand FAST, but for smaller ones like these it seems to build a sense of community, as people can comment to someone's forum individually, as opposed to a reply on a mass forum. Just my thoughts.
